The new fast funky Ruahine Kayak designed for the smaller paddler of both genders in the 50 to 70kg range.
After discussions with a number of top Multisporters and Adventure Racers, it was decided that there is a need for suitable boat for smaller paddlers, moving up from a Swallow, Sprinter or Arrow but find an Opus too big and the "6 metre plus" boats too long.
The result is our new "Rebel" kayak. It is 5.65 metres long, which is half way between the length of the Swallow and the Opus and it has a maximum beam of 450mm.
